Oil Casing

Oil casing is a steel pipe used to support the well wall of oil and gas wells to ensure that the drilling process is carried out and the entire well operates properly after completion. The casing is cemented after going down the well, it is not reusable unlike oil tubing and drill pipe.

Oil Tubing

Tubing is a relatively small-diameter pipe that is run into a well to serve as a conduit for the passage of oil and gas to the field surface facilities for processing. Tubing must be adequately strong to resist loads and deformations associated with production and work overs. Further, tubing must be sized to support the expected rates of production of oil and gas.

Slotted Pipe

Slotted pipe are used for oil and gas wells. Steel casing pipes and tubing are applied to furnishing and installing cased tunnels, where they indicate to pass other utilities or obstructions without open excavation. Steel casing pipes and tube have smooth wall and a minimum yield strength of 35,000 psi. Corrosion-proofing water-based paint is applied on the outside pipe surface to protect against atmospheric corrosion during transportation and storage.
